Matching Paper Bags

I ran into the dilemma, when trying to slide a card into an envelope that the big bow I had glued on it was awfully too large and it wouldn't fit. I decided that a cute matching paper bag could house the card and also a cute little gift as well. I also got some sales tags and decorated them to match, too! I think it turned out really cute for a around a $1 more. :)

My stamp is also placed on the bag of the sales tags. I love them and will most definitely be selling them along with every card from now on! I hope you enjoy!

Just Breathe

Lately, my family has been attacked with some horrible news. My sister was diagnosed with cervical cancer and will be starting radiation on Monday. She's a brave woman and I know everything will work out in her favor. My aunt is also having some radiation treatments done on her esophagus, due to some cancerous cells forming at the base of her throat. We are trying to stay positive and trust in the Lord. This card is actually for my aunt, who is having her first treatment tomorrow, and it says "Just Breathe" and that's all we can do right now. On the inside, stamped in the corner, is the cliche quote "Everything happens for a REASON." But it is so true and perfect for our situation. I can't wait to rejoice when my sister beats this terrible disease!

Keep my sister, and the millions of other women who battle this horrible disease, in your prayers. She's just at the beginning of, hopefully, a quick and easy obstacle in life.

Hi there! It's been a while since I posted an update. No fear though, I am back and I have LOTS of cards to make in the month of May. My sister was just recently engaged and I made her a "congrats" card but the funny thing is, is that it doesn't say "congrats!" I found this adorable stamp and paid $5 for it but I had to have it! The colors are a light teal and dark purple! The flower in the middle is also raised on a foam piece for added enjoyment. So, here's the card: comments are appreciated!

No clue why this is not turning clockwise, but this is a landscape design! :|

Decorate Your Door

These little door hangers are so easy! All you need is a thin, thin sheet of plywood, everyday acrylic paint your favorite wooden clip art, and letters for their initals. I made these three for my two nephews and niece. I hope they love them!

New Logo & Site Name

I'm so excited to deliever my new logo! It took some time to come up with and design but I'm very well pleased with it. My grandmother had a thing for butterflies and that's one thing I took away from her when she passed away. It speaks volumes to me and reminds me to always spread my wings and take on whatever life offers! :)
